The receiver looks like it’s plastic.

I was thinking the same for NY, they will sell well. But that muzzle looks like it might be threaded with a cap, which would be a no-no in NY.

(Id like a lightweight 22/45 but they're threaded and verboten. The Ruger Charger is also just barely over weight and classified as an assuault weapon. Ruger seems to just keep just missing the mark when it comes to ban states)

Hmmm.... says it has a ghost ring rear sight. And what is this "Dead Blow Weight" thing of which they speak? My Camp 9 had no such thing and functioned great. Dirty but great. And it is ugly.

Aluminum - from spec sheet..
CNC-milled from an aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum billet, the receiver includes an integrated Picatinny rail and is Type III hard-coat anodized for maximum durability.

On the Ruger forum we had photos of a truely leaked 3D model of their 1911 a year or more before it was announced.

Well, in keeping with the zeitgeist,
'real leak" probably refers to incontinence, while intentional leak means the info was unzipped before being streamed online.

First thing I noticed too. Seems like a helluva lot of recoil pad for a 9mm carbine. I’ve got Rem. Mdl 700 in .270 with no recoil pad at all. Why would someone think you need a 1/2” of pad for this rifle?

ETA: I note that Roger views the recoil pad as a way to adjust stock length.

"•Soft rubber buttpad with spacers allows the rifle to be properly sized for different shooters or varying levels of outerwear or defensive gear (three, 1/2'' spacers included)."

It looks like a Crosman 760 pellet gun. Shouldn't cost any more than one too.

It does have a rather "Kel-tec" look about it.

Not that, the plastic itself just looks cheap. Perhaps it's a bad picture or just a mock up gun and the real ones will look a littler nicer. I would've been highly interested. But have a Marlin camp 9 and the Marlin is a GREAT gun, problem is, it is so boringly accurate at a pistol range (25 yards or less), it gets kind of boring shooting it after a few magazines.....it's easy to make 1 hole with an entire magazine at 15 yards with it.

Earlier this year, I was in a serious itch for a carbine that would take a 9mm Glock mag. I got to handle a Kriss and immediately disliked it. Couldn't get excited enough about a Sub2000 to go looking for one. This looks like it just might fit the bill quite nicely.

It ain't pretty, that's for sure. But I have a thing for ugly space guns, so I dig it. I'm sure Magpul will have an offering for a stock and fore-end before long. They're going to sell a crap-ton of these.

Looks very functional for what it is. Throw it in the back of the car or truck and who cares if it get's beat to hell. Best part is they are providing an adapter for glock mags and a relatively inexpensive carbine.

I like it!

Would still give my left nut for a mint Deerstalker.

Nope.

And why do you say that??? I have to agree these things will sell.
Looks to be worlds above the Kel Tec Sub2000s and those sell like hotcakes.
