Back in the 1980s I read about the Feather AT-9 in one of the gun rags. It was one of those neat looking but I don't have a real need for it firearms that I never had the opportunity to purchase.

Recently, I started tracking GB auctions. I bid on and lost a few, but about 2 weeks ago, I won this one:

Now I'm on the hunt for accessories--extra mags, barrel shroud, and sling mounts. There is a website for accessories www.featherusa.com, but it appears to be old and is in and out of availability. GB and Ebay may be sources for some things, but pickings are slim.

Does anyone have one of these? If so, are you aware of any sources for accessories? Also, if you have one and have a sling attached, can you advise on the dimensions of the pre-drilled sling attachment holes?

Thanks in advance.

Had one back in the days. It's barely better than the jam-o-matic Tec-9. Didn't know any better, and I was into cool looking POS those days. Claridge Hi-Tec, Tec-9, Tec-22, Calico 100, you get the idea.

The AT-9 was the first firearm I bought as an 18th birthday present to myself. I added a scope rail, sling loops, and a carrying case from the factory. They basically use UZI mags with a different mounting hole cut into the side.

Accuracy was decent out to 50 yards with my cheapo BSA red dot. Balls fed fine with mine, but hollow points will hang up on the feed ramp. When Corbon came out with the Pow'r Ball with a true ball profile, it became a viable self-defense option. I have since acquired more effective weaponries. With no reliable way of getting spare parts, this one will be relegated as a last resort when all else should fail.

I had an AT-22 in the late 80’s, couldn’t afford the 9. My only issue was bloody thumbs from loading the metal mags. Loved it.
