As a younger man with better eyes, I ran that combo. It worked well. I loved my 4x when I was in Iraq (04) and Afghanistan (09).

Fast forward almost 16 years and I recently had to sell all my ACOGS. There is no way to adjust the reticle for older eyes and that is why the ACOG is a young man’s optic .

I don’t know how old you are but enjoy that set-up if your eyes allow you to.
