Is this a good gun ? What is the approx worth of this sporter version on the current market. Correction, I know it's a good gun just by looking at it. So the real question is, exactly how good is it? My understanding is they are one of the best factory guns every produced in the history of riflemaking. Lover of the US Constitution Wile E. Coyote School of DIY Disaster

I know the 52 has a match chamber. The Sporters, depending on vintage and condition can vary from $900.00 to as high as 10 grand. I look at the 52 rifles nearly every night on line. They were reproduced by Miroku of J.A. Pan and were the same high quality. The Miroku 52s also hold their value. Go to Guns International and see their prices. They are a fine little rifle.

need more info and a pic or 2 to give any advice, IIRC the Miroku guns (made in Japan) were sold as Brownings value,,, generally speaking the vintage 22 market is a bit soft https://chandlersfirearms.com/chesterfield-armament/

Asking about the stock because I have never seen an OEM Monte Carlo on this rifle, either in person (albeit only one) or in pictures in a Bing search.
