I am thinking of purchasing a Ruger Mini 30 Magazine. I know that Ruger only has 20 round magazines, however does anyone know of reliable 30-round magazines ??? Have used mags from five round to thirty round. The thirty round mags were aftermarket but ran fine. Prefer to use twenty rounds because of balance, handiness etc. but tens and twenties are good to go. -------------------------------- On the inside looking out, but not to the west, it's the PRK and its minions! | |||

I had a Mini 30 and foolishly traded it off for a AK. I was unable to find any reliable after market 30 round mags. The factory 20 round mags are the only 100% reliable mags in my opinion. The Mini 14 and 30 are fine rifles. If I ever find a nice used Mini 30 again I will pick it up. I have learned to stick to factory mags for both. ----------------------------- Always carry.
