So, last year I bought a Ruger American Predator in 6.5 Creedmore. I was just a little impressed with the accuracy of this rifle, average 3/4" at 100 yards with Hornady 147 ELD-M factory loads. So impressed that I've since bought two more. Accuracy is similar, though I don't have many rounds through either of the two new ones.

Calibers top to bottom, .223, 6.5 Creedmore, 308 Winchester.

6.5 Creedmore

308 Win

Sorry, didn't save any targets from the 223.

At around $450 per rifle they appear to be a good deal. I'm happy with them, so far at least.

Have two Ruger Americans, one in .22LR and one in .450 BM. Both rifles are stupid accurate for the money! Have rifles in the rack that cost 4X the price that don't shoot as well.

I’ve had them for years. The OD green is from Triad Tactical, the camo one is a Blackhawk, not sure where I bought it.

They shoot great and really are a bargain, but there is 1 lookout. The bolt doesn't lock down in place like the Hawkeye, and if it's even 1 red hair raised out of battery, when you go to shoot you will hear that dreaded click....and then nothing. Usually occurs when Bullwinkle the God Moose is standing broadside to you.

I do wish the bolt locked, have had it open on my shoulder a number of times.

I own two of the American Ranch Rifles that take AR magazines, one in .556 and another in .300 Blackout (currently on a “contact me when back in stock alert” for a 7.62X39)…both are very accurate and a ball to shoot…the Ruger American series are damned fine rifles for the cost…never noticed or experienced the bolt lock thing…but I will look for it.
