I would love to have a rifle that shares the same ammo as my 460S&W revolver.
I see Big Horn Armory sells a 460 lever action but the $5000+ price tag rules that out.
S&W is now making there own lever action rifles and my hope is they will eventually offer a rifle in the 460S&W and 500S&W at a reasonable price.
Has anybody that is in the know heard of any rumors?

Thomson Center barrel? I see Ruger made a few in the single-shot #1 rifle. Of course both not a lever gun.

For the $$, much depends on how important it is to have the same chambering. I see IL now allows many straight walled rifle cartridges for deer hunting. May or may not be a factor.

You gotta think S&W will do this right? If the "reasonably priced" bar is set by the price of a Big Horn though, I'm not sure I'll consider them a bargain Smile
