I ordered a pistol lower and had that leftover upper that I didn't like for my Dissipator build, so I decided to build me a home defense blaster and have some fun making it. I have the round handguards that I might stick on a seperate upper so I can have both versions. I got a free C7 with the purchase of a Colt optic. I just can't get the authentic stock without a stamp.

As close to an XM177 as I can get without having an SBR.

Which is the group's favorite version?

So, here it is. Three prong early.

And the moderated grenade launcher that was on the later one.

And the 1980's version.

On looks alone, I like the 3-prong.

I'd go #2 with the fake moderator... it will help direct the blast forward and be SLIGHTLY less teeth rattling... Eek

Harrington and Richardson. It's available on the PSA site. They will be back in stock soon. They are awesome for a retro build.

That brace is pretty cool, I had no idea they were making such a thing. Looks right at home on that build.

I ran 200 rounds through it today and it ran without the first hiccup.

The moderated barrel and slick side is available at the Harrington and Richardson section at the PSA website.

This was just an upper I had available. Slick sides are gray and my pistol lower was black.

However a slickside XM177 will have a three prong flash hider. My 603 upper is correct with the moderator. I just don’t like the extra weight.
