Deciding on a fixed power scope for my Henry 001T Login/Join

I have a Henry Frontier model lever action that I have been meaning to scope for a couple years. I waited too long and Leupold discontinued the fixed 4x scope I was planning to add.

I have to replace the receiver cover because of some damage it sustained in the safe. I really want a simple setup that fits the classic aesthetic of the old octagon barrel.

Does anyone have any suggestion for a scope setup?
This is going to be a paper puncher and part time critter gitter. I really wanted the gloss finish but those are long gone.

A scoped 22lr lever action and a single action 22lr revolver is my idea of a nice afternoon.

This is what I missed out on and need a substitute for…..Leupold 4x28.
Any suggestions? I’m looking for basic non-LVPO and am stumped.

I have an old glossy VXII 1-4x20 that, while not fixed, would look good on a .22 like that. I especially like the straight tube front of the 20mm objective.

Maybe peruse shops and online for vintage vibes.

I would go retro. Weaver, Redfield, Nikon, Leupold. etc. 4x.

I have a Primary Arms 6X on my Golden Boy. It has the ACSS reticle. Not 4x but something to consider. (semi glossy)

I'd hunt a vintage Weaver K4-1
Glossy and classic.

Not vintage but I just put a Burris 2x-7x scout scope on my SBL. Works like a charm.

I have an old Leupold 4x LER scope sitting in my safe. I used it on a Contender pistol for IHMSA matches.
I replaced it with a Burris 4-12 LER scope.
The fixed at 4x scope has a very narrow eye box so I have hesitated about mounting it to a rifle especially if a quick shot is called for.
