Yes…..it is not a JM marked gun, but it was NIB with the hang tags still on it. The fit and finish is outstanding and it cycles well. My well used JM gun may get a break or I just may leave it NIB. I gave $900 for it in a local FTF sell which I consider Ok for what the Ruger guns and JM marked guns are selling for. The wood is nice as well.

That's pretty! Not a horrible price these days, either, especially being NIB. I may be an anomaly, but I've had pretty good experiences with my "Remlin" guns. They're good shooters.

Glad to see wood that doesn't look/feel like laminated plastic.
Last Marlin [Remlin, maybe] I handled was a 336 that had an action full of sandpaper & stocks that felt cheaper than a Daisy Red Rider.

Nice!

Years ago I wanted a Henry Big Boy in .357 but the PX didn't have it in stock. They did have the .45 LC in stock so that's what I went home with. Not mad at the .45 LC but would've much preferred the .357/.38 version.
