New in a relative sense at least...

I started acquiring this setup a year ago. After waiting for 304 days on the ATF to approve the OCM5, I was finally able to get everything together last Thursday. A well timed day off on Friday resulted in an unexpected range day.

I only shot 50 rounds (Black Hills 77gr), but can't wait to get back to shoot it again. I got my zero established at 100 and then moved to steel at 200. This range only goes to 225, and the steel plates are to the right of the red arrow in the picture below. The drop on Strelok with a ballpark velocity was dead on. The suppressor was impressively quiet considering I was shooting 5.56 under a cover and surrounded by concrete. I'm looking forward to getting it out in the open at a friend's range to get a true sense of what it sounds like and see what it (and I) can do for groups.

The details for anyone interested:
PRI MK12 Mod H w/Geissele SSA-E
Otter Creek OCM5
Nightforce ATACR 1-8

Heck yeah! Awesome. I look forward to any updates. I have an OCM5 as well, and I think it's a splendid silencer. I am a fan of the MK12, but my use of the OCM5 is on a non-precision build. That is a fine looking setup, sir.

Great looking rifle. Cool
I am looking for a quality LPVO for a new build, lookin at all of them and I always keep coming back to that NightForce one you have.
Haven't pulled the plug yet as the price keeps hitting me in the face, hoping for deal somewhere.
How do you like it?

I got that same scope. Glass is crystal clear and it works very well in 1X.

At 1x it's clear and the illumination seems to be as bright as my EoTech in a side by side comparison. It's absolutely usable in daylight bright conditions. I was really happy with everything (eye box/clarity/reticle) at 8x.

I'm glad that I went with the ATACR and will definitely be looking at a 4-16 or 5-25 version in the future.
