My Favorite .22
I have many .22s two CZ457s with Lilja barrels are outstanding shooters, a beautiful CZ452 American and a family heirloom Remington 510. Here are my latest interest. A Remington 541X (a great shooter also), a Winchester 75 and my latest love a very nice Winchester 52D. (haven't shot the Winchesters yet, but hope to do so this week) Big Grin

Actually Lux barrel is 24" while the Trainer and Ultra Lux have 28" barrels. It appears the 457 line doesn't include either long barrel version.

For a lever .22, I haven't seen the Browning one mentioned. I like the unusual design - the trigger group moves with the lever; no chance of pinching your finger on the trigger. I haven't yet been able to justify its cost.

The top one I posted above is a Browning BL-22. The 33* lever throw means you can cycle the action with a flick of the fingers.

I received a Remington Nylon 66 back in the mid 60's as a birthday gift from my parents.
It won't ever get sold, it will be given to my Son.

Having gone through 6 different surpassed .22lr rifle combos (semi & bolt action) I have come down to my all-time favorite: the Ruger 10/22 Takedown LITE + Grey Birch La Chassis TKD stock + Franklin trigger + Gemtech Outback IID suppressor + one of several scopes/RDS. Not the most 1-hole accurate nor the absolute quietist setup… but by far the most FUN.

Similar to Z06.

Full Kidd build. Only thing not Kidd is the mag, scope, rings, grip, buttstock, and suppressor (not pictured).
