Anyone have any experience with the Vortex HD LH Series? Thoughts?

I'm just curious if anyone has looked down one or has experience with it.

I had the 3-15, It lost zero 4 times so I sent it in for repair, Vortex replaced it for me but I havn't played with the new one yet since I just got a leupold vx5 and a vx6 to use this year.

Also, SOm epeople claim that they twit the turrets on these and get consistent RTZ and good tracking every time but personally, I wouldnt use it like that, Id use it as a 95% set and forget scope.

Im going to mount up the HD LH on a kimber montana and do some testing, like I said, my initial one was dissapointing but apparently vortex has fixed the current versions.

I got the 1.5-8x32 in. It's the nicest glass I own by far. I'm a budget buyer (Athlon, Low end Vortex, Primary Arms) usually. So I'm super impressed with this.

Upper gets in tomorrow. So need to get it mounted and off to the range.

I got my HD LH 3-15x42 for 325.00 from a guy who bought it for a build then decided not to go forward with the build. The Razor scopes do have nice glass I'm just going to need to hammer on this one for awhile before Im really comfortable with it after sending the last one back.

I recently got a leupold vx5 HD for 599.00 and so far Im very impressed with it too, especially for 599.00 instead of 899.00.
