No laser to zero in on.

LEP stands for Laser Excited Phosphor. It emits a white light that is collimated similar to a laser beam, but with more spread. Super bright and intense blinding light. Limited peripheral lighting, but indoors there's enough reflected light to see well for the shooter - the bad guy won't be seeing anything with the blinding light in the face.
From the shooter's perspective, the bullet hits in the center of the beam, no other aiming needed at typical home-defense distance.
I could see where that would be very handy indeed.

IndianaBoyI have an OLD Streamlight M6 TLI that I got for cheap from a place that sells surplused police gear.
It had an anemic incandescent bulb but I was able to swap that out for an LED module from some Chinese outfit. Hey..... I was trying to get a good light on a budget.
It's almost as bright now as my TLR-1 HL. And did I mention it was cheap?
It has a red laser that can be zeroed. I lined it up with the sights at 20 yards. Not a bad thing to have.
