I realize that everyone has their own favorite "go to" AR 5.56 magazines and that opinions on which are the best ones are like right hand pinky fingers in that most of us have one. Over the years I have used a lot of different ones H&K, OKAY, Magpul,Colt, etc. For a while now I have been using Duramags mostly in stainless steel with some aluminum ones thrown in occasionally. I don't own stock in the company, but I like their product. While looking for some ammo the other day on the SG AMMO website I came across this statement made by the owner " Super tough stainless steel magazine made to mil-spec. IMO these are the best AR15 mags money can buy. I am a nobody in the mag business, but I have sold 69,254 of these and never once had a quality problem reported." I thought it was quite a recommendation.

Don't own any currently, but I saw SHOT show coverage of a new anodizing process they have to allow patterns to be anodized onto mags instead of just a sticker or vinyl. I will be buying a few just for the novelty of it. Glad they have a good reputation as well. A Perpetual Disappointment...

Just because something is legal to do doesn't mean it is the smart thing to do. |
If they sold that many of one brand they MUST be SOMEBODY in the mag business. Maybe not a manufacture but obviously a retailer of mags. Integrity is doing the right thing, even when nobody is looking.
