Can anyone recommend a trijicon scope which might be a good match for putting on a .308 rifle?

^^^That TA110 ACOG would be an excellent choice!

Depending on your intended use you might consider a Variable Combat Optic such as the 1-8x28 VCOG:

You also might consider an more traditional LVPO such as the 1-8x28 Credo:

Any of the above will serve you VERY well. Some will say that the VCOG is heavy, but it is EXTREMELY robust...Plus the HK417 is already heavy so what's a few extra ounces! Wink
