No, not really. I did a lightweight build with an adjustable block and took all the weights out of a buffer so it is hollow and weighs an ounce. At some point, you want some weight for inertia to help slam the BCG back into place under harsh conditions (for a build where reliability matters)...but carbine buffers work just fine in military M4s so you are GTG. “People have to really suffer before they can risk doing what they love.” –Chuck Palahnuik Be harder to kill: https://preparefit.ck.page | |||

You’re right, H is the M4 weight, my bad. I’d still go carbine with an adjustable block and maybe a lighter weight BCG since the point of the adjustment is to tune the system.
