I saw these anodized green sets from Aero Precision and had to have a set to build my OD green rifle. I did not want cerokote so these fit the bill nicely. According to Aero, they can put in the upper, lower and handguard in the green anodizing and all 3 come out a different shade of green. As you can see the handguard is a darker shaded of green but looks nice when mocked up. All the parts to finish the build will be here tomorrow. New pics and range report to follow.

I helped a coworker put this one together.
Complete upper, stripped lower.
Really like how the green looks on it & the Timney trigger feels great, dry-firing.

A bit darker than ODG, I think.

That is a sharp color choice. Is that a factory color option?

Well, its Cerakoted in Magpul OD Green > MA TEN AR308.

You need the OD Green EoTech to go on it.
I really like anodizing over Cerakote.

I went with Aero’s Kodiak Brown but found less is more more me.
One rifle will have the brown lower with everything else being black and the other rifle will have a brown handguard and buffer lube with everything else being brown.

My 3 browns are slightly different as well and change based upon lighting.

Yeah, it can be a challenge when matching colors.
Not that you can't have various shades of the same color together ~ can look fine.
Even Cerakote has the exact Magpul colors to match as my MA TEN above.
Some two-tone iterations just seem off to me such as the Sig M18 P320, etc.

I gave up trying to match any of the parts for this rifle. It's all just greenish or blackish.

Apologize for the thread drift, but I'd be interested in hearing more about the map in the background of your picture. Something you made yourself?

ETA: Thanks for helping me spend more money on something I didn't know I needed. After I saw this I had to have one too, so I've now got most of another AR on order. All I need to decide on is a barrel.

I saw one of those green anodized Aero uppers last weekend and I was really impressed with the color. That shade of green with black accents is spectacular!

Very nice looking stuff. For supposedly being midrange stuff, I've been pretty impressed with Aero's quality so far.

I love that color, my LGS has one of Geissele's setup. I think it is overpriced though.
