dewhorseCar gun rifle bag? What do you use and what do you carry in it?
So admittedly I am a kit whore and OCD about carry everything I "might" need....so I tend to overpack.
Up until lately I have used a surplus marpat patrol bag with a surplus 6 mag bandaler with 2-3 boks and 4-6 pistol mags. It also has a lv3 rifle plate in the hydration carrier.
It also fit a broken down 7.5" AR pistol.
Looking for something else so ....
What do you use and carry?

Ditto. Mine is currently a 7.5” 30blk pistol with Sandman-K. It sticks out a little. Building a 6” pistol to use with the Sandman-K until my Omega 9K gets out of jail. It should fit in the closed bag. Loaded with 20 rd subs. 30 round mags with supers are in the small part of the racquet bag.

BisleyblackhawkThis UTG 30" bag (it's imported but it seems well made)...it holds my 10" AR pistol with a LAW folding brace...it has three pockets for magazines plus a Velcro attached pistol holster in one pocket...the blue color and shape doesn't scream gun...

+1
I have that exact bag and it fits my 10.5" ar pistol with a fully extended shockwave brace perfectly.
I stuck a couple of tennis iron on patches to it and I are the gray man.

hrcjonI use a simple northface kids backpack. Completely non descript like millions of them. stock collapsed and ar pistol fits in the larger compartment. mags etc. in the front.

burnetmaI keep a 8.5" 6.8 SPC II AR Pistol with a Romeo 5 red dot and 3 mags in an Apache 2800 case from Harbor Freight. Law Tactical and Prometheus take down system make it all possible. The whole thing fits in my center console. Set-up (closed case to first round on target) takes less than 20 seconds without regular practice, but much faster with practice.
While everything fits in The medium Apache case, the large Apache case would allow better organization and protection of the finish and optic.

hvyhawler511 grey backpack. Palmetto 8.5" 300Blk upper, Anderson lower, Ept trigger with JP reduced power springs, Sb3a brace, Primary Arms 1x6-24 ACSS with predator reticle, PA deluxe mount and a Law folder. Numerous mags....

WARPIG602VertX Gamut 24hr, 10.3 300blk, Sandman K suppressor, plate carrier with 3 mags, full med kit, other random EDC essentials. LAW folder lets me get to business in about 2 seconds. If I have more time than that Id rather put on the palte carrier than assemble the receivers, just splitting hairs though.
This stays in whichever vehicle im driving. My normal EDC backpack is a standard Gamut, has an HK VP9, med kit, EDC gear, laptop, gps, plus whatever else I may need for the day.
Both are discreet, I can take them anyhwere without getting a 2nd look. I went away from camo, and camo colors a while back. I also try and avoid anything with molle on it. I also stay away from tennis bags and music cases etc. They seem discreet but in reality, theyre out of place in 99% of the time and Im definitely more observant of anyone who is carrying one.

Agreed. They are ok for carrying to a vehicle and back, but if you are walking around with a tennis bag or trumpet case, people notice. Especially if at the book store or if you don't look like you've played tennis in decades.

Yeah good point, particularly if you feel inclined to carry an AR in Barnes and Nobles.

AnubismpDakine Commuter 30L with a B&T APC300. It just came in so I'm going to try it out and then add all my medic stuff if I like it. It will be nice to not have to move all of that from coat to coat. I have yet to see a tennis court in a doctor's office, supermarket, zoo or Walmart. A laptop pack that carries a coat, iPad, snacks for kids and other crap is much more fitting.

gibby29I have a couple of bags I really like, none of which are cheap but you get what you pay for sometimes.
I have a couple of Sneaky bags and I have a Vertx sling pack that fits my Rattler. I love that bag, it is the ultimate in discreet carry but it’s too small for most guns but it fits the Rattler well.
The Sneakys I use more for transport to and from the range and can hold a ton.
