https://www.xtechtactical.com/...0-round-ak-magazine/ I'm looking to pick up some polymer AK47 mags. Does anyone have any experience with these? Compared to US Palm or Magpul top of the line mags? I have more than enough steel mags. Just looking for polymer. Thanks.

No experience with those specifically, but they have steel locking lugs and feed lips, which addresses the primary issues with the majority of other polymer AK mags out there.

I've been gravitating toward these recently. https://gunmagwarehouse.com/bu...nto_default_products I have Palm and Magpul, both with and without steel lugs on either. Those two are certainly stout magazines, and the steel lug models are likely to last. These plastic Bulgarian mags are shaped very similarly to older bakelite mags, they're light, they seem to work great, the steel inserts work as intended - they're also $10-15 cheaper per mag than the good American made versions. I just grabbed a few more poly Bulgarians in green and brown because GMW has Surefeed E2's for $12 at the moment. https://gunmagwarehouse.com/ok...nto_default_products

^^ Hoo, boy. I don't need 'em, but OKAY is getting out of the magazine buisness, so... Guess I might try the new Bulgarians as well. Historically anything but military issue over there seems to have had problems.

Thank you for this post because due to it, I see that these XTECH mags are finally available again after a long absence and I'm ordering some. They have had a good reputation in the past as far as US made mags go. Thanks again!
