I have a bone stock RRA NM AR with free floating barrel and will never shoot it for what it was built for, but want to repurpose it as a DMR/Varmint rig. Stock and furniture need to go. My rear sight is removable so no issues there, front sight will stay intact.

What handguard do you recommend? Would strongly prefer a section of Arca-Lock rail at 6 o’clock for bipod.

Grip, I’m looking for one that vertical to near vertical that increases distance to trigger by at least one inch. I have long narrow finders and the trigger sits naturally on my 2nd knuckle. I can manipulate my grip for fingertip, but know that is probably impacting my shot placement. Something with a thumb rest would be good too.

Buttstock, thinking Magpul PRS, anything else worth considering?

BTW, weight on this does not matter, it’s already a chonky 11 pound rifle with that massively thiCCC barrel. I can always put wheels on the buttstock and pull it along like a Red Ryder wagon. Big Grin
