I saw that effect on PSA’s web site on Wednesday (Christmas Eve) as well.
I’m sure it’s not the reality, but my cartoon-head pictured some college-age kid in the way-back of the warehouse, armed with a flashlight and a can of spider spray… “Hey, I found one!”
Yeah, it's happened to me more times than I can remember. I get the email saying something is back in stock, but by the time I get back to the site - minutes, in some cases - they're out again. WTF?

AllenInARDoes anyone know what the distributor price might be? Local guy here charges $20 over his cost. The dang taxes here really screws up bargains though.

Looks like you'll just need to upgrade to a 1301.

Yeowch. No, that's exactly what I don't have the budget for. I did actually manage to snag an A300 before they went OOS again, so I'm good. Looking forward to getting it.

AllenInARAr15discount.com (which seems like a sketchy name IMHO) has both the LE and the 'standard' A300UP on sale today.

AllenInARFat fingers and poor eyesight.

I haven't bought a firearm online in ages, unless it was a stripped lower. I am finding the Beretta at good prices at places I've never heard of. LOL

Well, damn. $60 less than what I paid, AND they don't charge sales tax, which would have saved me another $51. You win.

That place is legit. I got a can from them a couple of months back at a killer price.
In other related news to this thread, I snagged a 1301 from Europtic yesterday. On sale and the Beretta rebate made it a price I couldn’t say no to.

wrightdI agree with oddball's above post, that the semi is an overall better option for a SD shotty. I had the same experience as the youtuber in oddball's post, after shooting lots of pump shotty rounds under pressure, a semi is superior, esp these days if you pay for a quality semi for SD where shot to shot reliability is no longer a thing for premium semis from the better manufacturers.

After reading the
Beretta 1301 Mod2 thread, I reasoned with myself that it was the semi-auto shotgun that I ‘needed’ to pick up, that is, until the A300 was brought up in this thread.
At about half the price of a 1301 while still maintaining a very high degree of performance / functionality, and reliability, it seems like the way to go for me.

That's about where I stand on it, too.

CooksterPlease excuse my lack of knowledge on this subject, but is having a choke as an option a necessity for a home-defense shotgun?
The A300 J32CT11LE model is not choke capable, while the J32CT11 model version ($1,040.00 from LGS) is designed to accommodate one (or may actually come with it).
Thank you in advance!

parabellumInterchangeable chokes are unnecessary in an HD shotgun.

Nope. I’m using federal flight controlled 00 buck and it doesn’t even begin to open up at 15 yards

CooksterThank you, Para, and Mike.
I recently purchased 35 boxes of the Federal Flight Control 00 (9 pellet) from an on-line vendor recently presented on the forum, so I should be gtg for shotgun break-in and personal training and experience building.

IndianaBoyI have nothing bad to say about the Beretta shotguns at all.
My personal experience, I went Benelli before the Beretta 1301 was even a thing.
A Benelli M1 or M2 is an absolutely superlative shotgun. I can't say if it is better or worse than a Beretta, nor am I interested in making that claim.
I have fired probably 10,000 rounds through my M2. I can think of 3 stoppages, all of which were due to a tired magazine tube spring.
One more, which was due to having heavy summer weight grease in the shotgun at a winter match.
