Get on the fifty!

Two things that don't go well together: Myself and gun store gift cards. Why? Because I end up spending more than the gift card is worth Razz
Anyway, these things are expensive and I have no real use for it besides fun. Without the gift card knocking several hundred off I'd of probably walked away....but since that wasn't the case..

Friend at the store told me to come in back (which should be my first clue to turn around) and pulled out this little guy. I made fun of it when Sig first announced it with everyone else (more the marketing campaign than anything) but when I held it was amazed at how solid it is, and 300BLK. Even the hand guard is aluminum. It's TINY. On first look I thought I was getting into another SBR but nope, pistol! The Sig SB braces are pretty slick using all the 3 position collapsible stock components giving an adjustable pistol brace. Cool little PDW. First short gun I've had that I really have no desire to SBR.

Two position gas systems for supers or subs.

Only gripe so far is the trigger is just a so-so mil spec. May change that in the future.

Planning to put it through it's paces this weekend.

Slick.

What kind of sight is that?

I still think of the "Cobra Rattler" when anyone mentions this thing. Big Grin I'll resist posting a pic. Wink

Nice!!!!
I have SB tactical PDW brace to go on a 9mm lower I need to assemble.
I have a 7.5” upper for it.
I kind of want a 4.5” just for the sake of a tiny gun.

If only I hadn't written off Sig rifles.

I'm assuming they are still having issues with the 5.56 variant which is why we haven't seen it yet.

Thanks fellas.

Rhino, the sight is a Steiner R1X red dot. Made in the US. Neat optic, figured I'd try something different. Has a 2moa single dot mode and a CQB mode with a 2 moa dot on top and three 4 moa dots below it.

Warpig, I imagine there isn't the interest in the 5.56 that there is in the 300. Sig has also said the 5.56 will not be suppressible where as the 300 has that option.

Black, 4.5 would be be pretty wild! This one is 5.5 and feels very short.

I have a Ti-Rant9 that would add a little more length.

Where does the shoulder of the barrel come to?
My suppressors are all SiCo ASR mounts. It looks like the locking ring would be too close/under the hand guard?

If the shoulder is under the hand guard it’s a no go, but if it’s out past the hand guard, there might be enough room.

It would probably be tight depending on the flash hider/muzzle brake. It looks like the shoulder is about a 1/4in under the hand guard. Really too close to say.
