benny6Shooter at Local range set pending world record for 600yd benchrest 5-shot light gun category
I got an e-mail yesterday that a local range (Tri-County Gun Club in Sherwood, OR) member set a pending world record yesterday for 600yd benchrest 5-shot group in the light gun category. 0.71" at 600 yards, four for sure 4-x's with a 5th shot splitting the X-ring and 10-ring line.
Gun info...
6 Dasher
Varget
Precision Ballistics 105 gr
450pr
Kelby action
Bartlein 7.5 twist
McMillan MBR
2/3rds of the hole is in the 10-ring while the other 1/3rd is in the x-ring. I'm not sure what the rules are but if they are like high-power, then as long as the hole breaks the line, it counts as the higher value. If this is the case, then he shot 5-X.
