I don't get the question (I'm slow) but if creslin gets a pass on an even number so do I even if the number is 2^4 bigger.

Mine identifies as a colt mk18. I keeping trying to bring it back to reality and say you are semi and a bbg(big beautiful gun). I think he saw the bud light trans gender Dylan twitter and is now confused.
I believe he needs counseling.

Manners, gentlemen.
bendable, SCARs supplied to the military are select-fire, meaning they function as semi-autos and automatics, both.
Civilian SCARs, on the other hand, are semi-automatic only.
There are perhaps some Class 3 dealers who possess select-fire versions of the SCAR, but these will be scarce in the extreme. If you were to purchase a SCAR from a gun store, what you would be getting would be a semi-automatic rifle.

I guess I meant for the overwhelming majority of civilian owners that would answer the thread. I suppose a member of the 75th Rangers or a SEAL could pop in.(Not sure they still use SCARs)
But if your only question is whether its full auto or semi and you converted this thread to a poll, I'm betting it would be 99.75% Semi to .25% FA.
I can directly answer your question. It's not. It's a semi auto. That guy has been putting out videos for a long time with all kinds of guns shooting that fast, and faster. He has a trigger finger that makes Jerry Miculek look like an amateur.
And yes, I know it has receiver markings for full auto, but it's an aftermarket lower and lots of lowers have those. The gun is only ever on safe or semi. Just watch his finger. Set the video to play at 25% speed and it's really apparent.

Your patience and clarification are appreciated. Thanks for putting up with me.
I watched that vid seven times and suspected some kind of bump fire gizmo.
That's a sh*t load of trigger pulls in a minute.
Mark it on the calendar, I learned something today.

If its true that the .308 SCAR has significant two-way recoil, I think I see that that shooter is 'bump-stocking" the trigger simply with good timing.
He seems to be curling and uncurling his trigger finger only when firing the two or three warm up shots. Then he braces his right thumb and palm against the receiver, keeps his trigger finger almost straight and lets the forward recoil move the trigger against his rigid finger.

He really is that fast, I wasn't saying otherwise. Was trying to see how he does it.
And, at 25% speed, I see I was wrong, his trigger finger is not rigid, but, he is using less curling motion than on the warmup shots. Watch how his right hand ( and wrist and arm) is (are) not moving tightly with the frame in recoil at 25% speed. He is skillfully synchronizing the back & forth recoil in combination with a lesser, more time efficient trigger finger motion.
Very similar in the video with the smaller caliber AR and handstop, but with less kinetic energy to the motion of the rifle in relation to his body.
