I love my 1897 takedown in 12ga. And I'm not even a shotgun guy. Great gun with surprisingly decent aftermarket support for replacement parts considering the age.

I just wish I could find a rough value for the one I have.


It is all over the place from the research I have done.


They are good looking guns and neat pieces of history. I do prefer it had a manual safety.
