Gents,

Photo of my M-14 "Shortie". Shortened USGI stock painted "cat puke camo". Criterion barrel shortened to 18 1/2" with GemTech muzzle brake. Scope is a U.S. Optics TS-8. All it needs now is one of Brad's cheek pieces and it'll be ready to go...

Range testing/sighting in this Thursday/Friday.

Enjoy, Wes

Gents,

We cut down a standard length Criterion barrel to about 18.5".

drillsgt, I'm a "full length" guy and this is the only "Shortie" that I own. It IS growing on me...

Very cool. I have always regretted not picking up a M14/M1A, but since none are very easy to suppress, I have always looked to other options. Looks great.

Gents,

You're right...it's a really nice hog (and other game hunting outfit! The optics are good and clear and the reticle is well thought out. U.S. Optics did a nice job on this one...even if it is made in China.

Vgex, pick up a M-14. You won't regret it. They ARE suppressable with a little work. I'm working on it!

Thanks for the kind words about the rifle...

Wes
