Jester814Brand new vortex crossfire red dot with a "burr" on the inside?
It's not a burr, but I want to confirm that this is an imperfection on the inside before returning/exchanging it:
Does anyone else with this optic have this little thing poking out?
To be clear, that's on the INSIDE of the glass and I can't get it out.

ARMT GuyI don't have one and won't be of any use in providing you with resolution, however.. if it is a manufacturing flaw of some sort, I wouldn't be surprised. This is not a slam against Vortex, ( I own a couple of their optics and have no complaints whatsoever with them, ) or any other manufacturer out there.
Due to the extreme and continuous demand for firearms and nearly everything firearms related over the past year, manufacturers have had to take a number of steps to keep up: increasing work hours/OT, expanding facilities, adding new machinery, hiring additional employees and temps, just to name a few. When these measures are undertaken, they don't just seamlessly begin smooth operation. There are start up issues.. all manner of problems to resolve before smooth production becomes common again. In the meantime, the demand is still there.. and increasing. This translates all down the line to supporting vendors, suppliers, you name it.
You're doing the right thing by checking around here to double check your observation and then contacting Vortex's customer service. Please update us after your interaction with their customer service.

LDDI checked a new production one at the shop. It did not have the what I presume to be flashing that your unit has.
