Maybe one of these are still available somewhere...

Or you might be able to source one from Switzerland.

Galil, I bought one of the Griffen's a long time ago. If I can find the original I will send it to you.

Give me a couple of days to look for it.

Sooo, is this a 'wear' item? It would seem unlikely and my internet search didn't uncover anything noteworthy. That said, I've been wondering as I've got a SIG 556 SBR that I haven't even shot yet....An addition to my 'stamp collection' just prior to the .gov shutdown! Cool

I know that a spare bolt, replacement springs, etc are desirable (probably easier to just acquire a complete/spare firearm!), but do I need to be looking for one of these? Wink

Not a wear item, per se. I had my rifle stored at my LGS for a week while out of state and didn't notice it until I had it back home several weeks later. Apparently, it was dropped and chipped the end of the handle. No other problem with the rifle.

The plastic is known to split over time. I don't think I've ever seen a case of the metal cracking, like on an FNC or Daewoo.
