I've been looking for a better bi-pod and have been wanting to get a Magpul but didn't like the mounting options.
QD pic mounts need to be adjusted between rifles, at least mine do so I started looking at Arca clamps.
I seen Magpul has a new attachment, the Rail Grabber that works with Arca and pic rails.
Midway has it for decent price and so I got the Arms17 mount bi-pod and Grabber for about $150.

The large knurled knob snugs down tight quick and easy between all my rails.
I've been wanting to get another tripod with an Arca clamp and have been looking at IWI's 15.5" Arca rail HG so that will work on it too.

The dual ARCA/Picatinny rail clamps were someone’s good idea: “Hey, what if …?”
The Anvil-30 ball head by Really Right Stuff has the same thing.

I can imagine their becoming more common in the future.

I don't get this. I like ARCA for a variety of reasons but its not for every gun and I have no issues with any of the dozen pic mount bipods I have on moving them between guns. What mounts are you using and what were the issues?

I only have one QD bipod.
The tension has to be adjusted between rifles for the rails I have.
When I was looking at the Magpul bipod with an ADM or such QD mount it would have the same issue, though those don't need a tool to adjust.
A bipod for each rifle would make that a non issue I suppose but I don't need several, just one to easily swap between them.
Almost went with an Atlas with an Arca mount but the Magpul set is quite a bit less and worked out for me.
And since that came out of the tri-pod fund it didn't set me back too much.

After using a cheap UTG bipod for a few years just about anything would have been an improvement but this will work well for what I'm doing.
