tigereye313Opinions wanted about pistol upper
Hello all, I have a premium 16" midlength upper from PSA that has been flawless.
I have a stripped lower that I have never decided what to do with and the other thread about the Gear Head Works Tailhook brace has me thinking about building it into a pistol.
I found this kit at PSA and wanted to know if anyone has the same one and how it compares to their premium CHF rifle uppers?
LinkAlso, since the lower has never been assembled are there any legal issues with buying an 8.5" upper in a kit like that one that comes with the LPK, pistol buffer/ buffer tube and building it as a pistol or should I build the lower out as a pistol lower first then buy the upper afterward?
Thanks as always!

DoctorSoloYou can only put a pistol buffer on it if it has never had a rifle buffer tube attached to it. I would build the lower before I bought the upper, but thats being super duper legal, and it only matters if you have a rifle lower aready.
Just FYI.
AR pistols are good to have these days, especially in 300BLK IMO...In 5.56 That thing will be LOUD. But fun.

pepsiblueNot exactly what you asked, but....
I bought two pistol lowers from PSA. I am 100% happy with both of them. I put a "built by me" 7.5" upper on one of them, and the other one is still waiting. It is super fun, and very loud. Right now it has a regular bird cage flashhider, but I am going to be putting a generic flashcan on it.
