The other deciding factor I forgot to mention is that the Nikons SpotOn app helps with using the P223 for any caliber in its registry even though it's designed for the 55gr .223/5.56 round .

My three .300Blk ARs are done.
Anxious for the snow & cold to ease up so I can get out & heat'm up.
Especially the rifle, I've fired the others.
But decided I wanted all my 300s to be FDE so I swapped out all the accessories this winter.
