Anybody have one in hand yet? Curious if the new barrel treatment has affected accuracy. I like the look of the American, even with the checkering, and I don't have a pencil barrel 22 produced after '66. Might be time for a new 22.

Nitride is a very good type of surface treatment that should have no detrimental effect on accuracy.
