jack32586Parkerizing
Does anyone know of a reputable place for parkerizing? Anywhere is fine, but as close to Florida if possible.

marksman41I absolutely second Shuff's. I've had multiple Garands and M-1 Carbines refreshed and parkerized (I like the darker (phosphate?) parkerizing) by Tim and he does excellent work.
Also, I have one of his Mini-Gs and it is a really handy version of the M-1 Garand.

cee_KampRogueJSK and marksman41 nailed it.
I needed a revolver cylinder parkerized for a custom project I was doing. I asked here on this Forum, and got the same advice. Here is an example.

I believe they do but mostly as a base finish for their cerahide coating, their blend is a bit on the lighter side for my taste, obviously if you're painting over it it doesn't matter, but it wouldn't be my first choice if the intention is to have it as the final finish.
