I was able to get range beater Benelli m4 SBS

While it’s in NFA jail.

What parts should I be looking at other than cosmetic issues.

What upgrades are we into these days? I know fixed side saddles are out of vogue.

This has potential to be a HD gun.

I personally prefer the Mesa Tactical Urbino stock over the factory stock because of the shorter length of pull.

I also added a Strike Industries mlok handguard for purposes of mounting a light. There are several other mlok handguards out there as well. In general, all of them are "girthier" than the factory plastic unit.

Some Benelli parts are a little sparse right now.
(ETA: MGW seems to have most things in stock, everywhere else the cupboards are bare)

Replace the carrier spring for sure. The carrier spring and the inertia spring (which the M4 doesn't have) get changed by default on any used Benelli I've bought. Carrier spring is the mostly likely to give up, most likely to cause malfunctions.

As a side note... recently I bought a stock. If you go to the Benelli website and click "shop", it sends you to: https://www.shopbenelli.com/

It was $135.00

MGW wants $145.00
https://www.midwestgunworks.com

I ordered from the first site, and MGW is who sent me the stock. lol

I also know a guy with an Impact Weapons light mount for sale who's about to drop the price. Wink

Been looking for one of these recently. Figured it was time to add a SBS to my safe.

If you want to keep your handguard factory and still add a light, Impact Weapons Components offers this mount.
