They are for a Ruger red label o/u 12 gauge. They are extended and one is marked 745 on one side and 5 on the other. The other is marked 745 and 10. No other markings. What constriction are they? Brand? I can email pics if necessary.

If you search Google with “measuring shotgun choke,” you will find many discussions. The best way is probably with a chart and calipers, but as stated in one result, strictly speaking chokes are ratios, not necessarily absolute measurements. There are, however, choke measurement tools available as well, like this:

Best I can figure is 5 is .005 which is skeet and 10 is .010 which is IC. Not sure about 745 stamping on both.

Red Labels are slightly overbored to .745. Standard 12 ga being .729-.730.

So you have a .745 bore and the chokes are .005 and .010 which are, as stated above, Skeet 1 and Improved Cylinder.



I'm gonna vote for the funniest frog with the loudest croak on the highest log.
