Just because something is legal to do doesn't mean it is the smart thing to do.

Just wondering if anybody has used the AR mags.
I am looking to pick up a few 10 rd mags.

I don't have any personal experience with those. I would generally advise just going with pmags in whatever capacity, given that they're proven and inexpensive.

I have both Ar-15 and AR-10 Hexmags and have not had any issues. They seem to be on par with Magpul, at least that is my experience.

Same here, have not had any issues with Hexmags. I have used them with .223/5.56 and .300 BLK, mostly .300.

I just decided to get the 10 pack of Magpuls for $119.99 from Gunmag Warehouse.
Dust covers included.

E-Lander is one of the Israeli mags available. I think IMI makes or used to make some.

You’ll be more satisfied. We bought several at work, and they didn’t last long before we started having problems. The rest are relegated to training mags.

I bought three Hexmags when I got a PWS MK1 SBR in .300BLK as I wanted a totally unique magazine for that rifle. This was before Magpul had the .300BLK specific mag available. Sample size of one, but the Hexmags would not lock-in/fully seat in the mag well of my PWS lower. Never had a problem w/ Magpuls or Lancers though... Wink

I bought three, the followers of two would jam when loading. Could not get more the six cartridges in either one. The third could be fully loaded. Did not bother trying to use them except to keep dust out of the magazine well when storing the rifles.
