golddotClass 3 , FFL guys and M3A1 grease gun fellas, come on in please
Hello, I am looking (in the next few months) to trade a US M3 A1 grease gun (WW2) left over. it belongs to my (one man) department now and I want to trade it up on a more modern setup. I am assuming someone would swap me for a new gun setup in trade ?? I am a FT LEO and this is a department gun, not mine.
my goal is to sell it, and use those funds to buy modern equipment for my office. the M3 is an original WW2 gun, i figure it has to be worth something. it is in good shape for a gun that old, i will try to post pics.
I finally was able to get the aTEEf to call me back ,they said it was an import from 1989, and thus, can only be sold to another class 3 or agency. I will try to post pics..i was hoping to get an approx trade value on it if anyone has any experience with them

lymanYou have a Post Sample,
they (ATF) may let you transfer w/o a letter to any other SOT,, or of course to another agency,
Posties do not bring the money a (pre post) or transferable gun do, since they cannot go to an individual, and a SOT has to get rid of them if they close,
you may find a range that could us it as a rental tho,,,
I've got a few minutes, so I'll look about and see what current market value is

uvahawkRuben Mendiola advertises regularly in the "The Tactical Edge", the publication of the National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA); apparently his specialty is buying class III items from police departments. See:
