4.40s1nineIf you like B&T, you're welcome
I know we have a lot of B&T owners and fans. I did a quick search and did not find any posts on this yet.
Looks like B&T's are about to be a little more fun, while being closer to the original design's intent in a civilian legal way.
Hope you enjoy:

P220 SmudgeYeah, I got to do a mag dump through a GHM9 with an FRT and my can this past weekend. It was really nice. I saw the other day on Instagram that someone has a working slip trip for the Stribog on Lingle lowers that works with any Super Safety or similar FRT. Hopefully those won't be too pricey because that's the only piece I need.
These little suppressed 9mm subgun types with FRT's are going to take off huge in 2026. Anyone who didn't design a smooth shooting "PCC" in 9mm in time for this is going to lose out bigly.
Oh, I just realized that's my local NFA dealer and the guy who did my buddy's GHM9 lol. Eric's a good guy.

4.40s1nineThat is really cool you actually know him.
How was your cyclic rate and gas blowback?
I have a couple of MCX Virtus and a MPX that I am trying to figure out which FRT I want to go with.
I completely agree with you on the explosion of these coming next year. I think a little 22 lr handgun with an FRT and a B&T in 10mm with this setup would make for a really capable bag setup. Suppressors for both included of course.

P220 SmudgeCyclic rate was probably 600-700ish rpm if I had to guess. Very controllable. I said "mag dump," but I was walking bursts onto a full size steel torso at probably twenty yards. It was easy to keep it on target. As for gas, it's hard to say. I didn't shoot it with my friend's YHM R9 on it because I'm a snob and don't like that can

. I used my Stealth Additive prototype 9mm and it's an ultra-low backpressure type, so I basically never get gas in the face. It was really very pleasant and gave me a serious itch to get the FRT thing working with my SP9A3.

hrcjonYou guys know I am a B&T guy. BUT I don't actually see any way to look at a product or price or whatever. What's the scoop?

P220 Smudge https://www.eastvalleytactical...-include-frt-triggerAfaik, it's exclusive to EVT at this time. I didn't dig for the other conversion "add to cart" services for other models besides the APC9, but that's the first I found and now you know who to contact and how.

nhracecraftAnywhere from $450 - $900 for the conversion, depending on the model firearm (sweet-spot of $770 for the APC9), plus the $550 cost of the Rare Breed FRT trigger.
Of note was they mentioned in the video that the necessary receiver mods for the conversion will be included from the factory on 2026 model B&T Firearms.

adorThis is very interesting. I have an SBRd APC9. This maybe the first FRT project I have to do.

So I can drop that on one I have or if its already in the new guns get effectively 30% price discount. Tough decision...

4.40s1nineI do also really like how B&T have signed off on the design by keeping their lifetime warranty in place. Definitely provides the piece of mind that it less of risk with the cost of B&T to even begin this kind of setup.
If anyone does get this, please let us know what route you go with.
