Plowing straight ahead come what may |
Looks like FDE polymer to mold magazines is in short supply... Today was an eye opener...looks like all I could find at my usual haunts were these lancer opaque FDE mags at Brownell's...damn good magazines...quite possibly the best polymer mags...if at least a bit spendy... https://www.brownells.com/maga...x?avs%7cMake_3=AR-15 ******************************************************** "we've gotta roll with the punches, learn to play all of our hunches Making the best of what ever comes our way Forget that blind ambition and learn to trust your intuition Plowing straight ahead come what may And theres a cowboy in the jungle" Jimmy Buffet

I use Lancers (smoke) for 5.56, FDE Magpuls for .300. Weird....run low of a polymer color?? LOL _______________________________ The artist formerly known as AllenInWV

I thought it was because the military re-specified what "brown" the wanted, and thus we got "Medium Coyote Tan" which appears to be slightly darker than the original FDE. I like the darker MCT color over the old FDE, but not enough to buy any new magazines over it.

My solution is that I shoot 556 through my scar and 300 through my at.
