I'll go second in line if you don't want it. Been looking for one of them like forever.

I hear you. 452 turned out to be 455 !

SaWEET!! Looks like a nice piece of wood too. If I ran across a 457 American in .22WMR with a nice chunk of walnut I would have to bring it home as well!

Beautiful guns...

I innocently went to my LGS for the first time in a few months, an LGS I had not been to before, and one followed me home... 457 in 22 LR

I put a Nikon Prostaff Rimfire 3-9x40 I had on hand, but sadly have yet to shoot it as I have been traveling a lot lately.

It isn't bad, I've seen some really nice CZ walnut stocks. I am really happy with that one.

Went over to the CZ web store and ordered a .22LR barrel for the 457 American. Not a bad deal for a new barrel , magazine, and tools to change over to another caliber. Watched a few videos and appears to be pretty straight forward. Barrels attach similar to 10/22 barrels. I'll follow up when I make the change. I plan to shoot the .22 mag some firstly.

Wow, quick shipping. I received the new barrel Saturday. Unboxed it and after refreshing my memory on how to remove the old barrel and install the new one. All done in about 30 minutes. Since the NC weather has been awesome lately I was able to try it out today. Not as good as I had hoped. I think I am going to have to tinker with it. The other option is sell it and by a Varmint MTR model. I still have the Training model which has performed very well.

I found this one at the recent gun show in town. Wasn't really looking for anything in particular, and didn't find any really good deals until I stumbled on this one. I had been looking for one, and this one, in pristine condition WITH the Bushnell optic, was only $499. I couldn't give him my money fast enough, ha ha!.

I haven't been able to take it for a spin yet, but can't wait to do so.

Phone's ringing, Dude.

Sold the 457 Trainer and purchased the 457 Varmint and later found a 455 American NIB. Both shoot very well. The Varmint model is exceptional with Federal Gold Medal ammo.

Also found this baby , a NIB 452 American with nice wood. Very good looking gun, I see why everybody likes the 452.

Man, this thread makes me drool! I missed out on a nice 457 American at the LGS a few months back. Saw it one day, went home that night to compile some trade fodder, and by the time I got back the next day it was gone. Still kicking myself over that one.
