FINALLY all the planets have aligned between weather and work I can go up to the chicken farm in Calhoun, GA.

It's an egg farm, so the chickens will be in coops for the night, leaving 600ft of open area to snipe them all night long inside and all under the silos outside. I will have total darkness and he will have available ambient light.

Nen and I will be keeping score between the rig I built him a few weeks ago and the ATN.

By all means videos will be posted!

Really interested in what you think of the scope. I'm looking closely at them.

Nice video, way to many rats though. Someone needs to step up the control about 10 fold. Time for some carefully placed poison.

That would be great for outdoors, but 36gr 715fps won't cycle it. 1000fps subs are WAY too powerful.

715FPS is too high velocity, but it's the lowest I can find.

ATN X-Sight 5-18. They can be had for around $400 used and the 5-20 X-Sight II is close to $600.

WAY too magnified for this.

I am going to get the 3-14 for my .22 and relegate this one for my AR.

The new ones come with a T-20 illuminator that is light years superior to the X-Sight I's that I have.

No poison near chickens.
They could eat a poisoned rat.

Nen had come from a party and had been drinking, so I would not allow him to shoot.

He also had failed to charge his camera battery, so he was out of the game this time.

I took his T-20 and held it on top of my scope to double the illumination at its widest angle.

Oh the tripod you see there, it's necessary.

The scope alone weighs close to 5 lbs and holding the rifle steady will wear you out in minutes.

You can't lay on the ground and shoot in a chicken house for obvious reasons.
