Colt sp1 serial number question Login/Join

I won an auction on gunbroker and now am not sure what I bought. (Not received so going off of seller’s information). It is supposed to be an older sp1 but the serial number doesn’t show on sites. The serial number is sp1640xx. The xx are to numbers. Can anyone tell me when this was made?

This may be of no value, but FWIW I bought one that I believe was new from the factory in December 1985. Serial number SP2163xx.
