bryanZ06Marlin 1894 Trapper .357 (range report)
I recently picked up a new 1894 Trapper in .357 Magnum. I had a safety delete and brass follower waiting for it to arrive (same setup as my other 1894) and immediately installed those once I got it home.
The action is smooth, the trigger is not bad at all, the Skinner sights are great and were on out of the box. This gun is EXTREMELY fun to shoot with 158gr .38 Special. I can't help but wonder how much quieter it would be with a newer full size pistol can instead of the Omega 9k, but that's not a priority right now.

92fstechMy buddy just got one of those, and I was very impressed. Darn thing feeds .38 wadcutters, which is something my old 1982-vintage JM gun couldn't dream of. Ruger got it right with these things.

patwVery nice looking gun. I love the grey wood on it with the stainless. They compliment each other very well.

BrowndrakeI got one a while back, but haven’t had a chance to shoot mine yet. I’ve been wanting this basic set up for about 20 years. I’m glad to know you like yours so much! I may have to follow you and visit Beartooth Mercantile.
