It's on my 223 Axis 2 XP which I got from PSA for $200 shipped after a $50 rebate. It has the AccuTrigger and I love the rifle: http://www.savagearms.com/firearms/model/axis2xp/ http://palmettostatearmory.com...m-w-scope-22221.html PSA has simliar scoped models in stock without that trigger, if they show up as daily deals for $200 shipped I may grab one. http://palmettostatearmory.com...rem-rifle-22615.html http://palmettostatearmory.com...2-223-rem-19228.html After shooting and enjoying the AccuTrigger, will I feel a big difference in the other models?

Congrats on the new rifle. That's a steal. I see they're sold out now. I've looked at those a few times but never pulled the trigger, pun intended.

Clarification: I got the Axis 2XP about two years ago, and it WAS a steal. Of the two others I linked, one was on sale for $200 with free shipping last week, but they sold out fast. Even without the Accu-Trigger, I'll grab another in a second. ETA I just learned there's a $50 rebate on Axis and Trophy Hunter XPs: https://www.sportsmansoutdoors...ophy-hunter-2017.pdfThis message has been edited. Last edited by: Sigmund,

Gotcha. No deals like that these days around here on the Savage. A local store has the TC Compass on sale for $275 and there is a $75 rebate on them. I'm considering picking one up in .308 or .243, leaning towards .308, but not sure I really "need" it. I'm also not sure about the 1 in 12" twist rate on the .308 as I don't know much about rifles. I would reload for it.
