I bought mine off of Amazon. I don't have anything else to compare them to, but they seem to be good quality.

I have these on 2 of my ARs and they've been used in two separate classes as well as on range trips for a few years now. No issues to report. I don't actuate the hook tons, but it's been well used and they still function.

Vickers Tactical also sells a similar hook. They may be much easier to come up with.

I use them for leatherworking occasionally. I order them from https://www.buckleguy.com/b744...ver-snap-solid-iron/ The cheapest shipping option is normally around $8

I saw some today on Centerfire Systems website for $4.99 ... They have flat rate shipping for your entire order ... So I ordered 2ea of 2 different types of ammo cans in addition to a 75 round AK drum for $59 and a 10 pack of mags for my F/A M11/Nine with the Sten Mag conversion ... shipping for it all was $9.99

They may be a bit more but if there's other stuff you want it may be cheaper!

If you really want something you'll find a way ...
... if you don't you'll find an excuse.

I'm really not a "kid" anymore ... but I haven't grown up yet either Wink

They also sell the elastic covers for the HK hooks which reduces some of the noise these type hooks make.
