I looked at all the ones I have removed.
Rimfire Central has stickies on all you might need to know on 10-.22s.

Be aware. The front sight can break when using the method. I've had it happen.

The front sight fell off mine years ago, and I've been using it with the empty dovetail ever since. I don't think they're in there that good unless I just got a lemon.
