I voted yes, I don’t “train” like I used to since my arthritis prevents me from getting up from a kneeling or prone position in anything resembling speed or in a respectable fashion. However my P556 & P553 SBR’s are my go-to and go everywhere with me.

If you really want something you'll find a way ...
... if you don't you'll find an excuse.

I'm really not a "kid" anymore ... but I haven't grown up yet either Wink

Gents,

I see rifles as tools and use both piston and DI guns interchangably.

Lately, I've been playing with a Robinson Arms XCR-L and am find it "interesting".

I voted no as my go-to is a 11.5 inch Geissele URGI suppressed. I am not opposed to a piston gun but I got a screaming good deal on this years ago and it does what I need it to do.

Do you have one you lean on heaviest, or most regularly? One whose performance you know best? One you'd grab in an emergency? What is that one? Is it a DI AR15, or something piston operated?

My "Go Bag" rifle is a Sig 556 11" SBR. Suppressed if needed, can fold small enough to put in a back pack, exceptionally reliable, and with excellent diopter sights that do not need batteries. It's not my choice for home defense, there are other options for those duties, but if I'm abandoning the homeplace in dangerous times, that's the rifle I'm taking, accompanied by a P226.

Man, I love that duo right there. Such cool looking and compact guns and super reliable.

My 'primary' duty rifle is the PWS MK114. Smooth shooting, accurate, easy to clean and just runs.
