| I have 3 POF rifles. 14.5" P415 2012 model AR-15 14.5" P308 2012 model AR-10 16.5" Rogue I've shot the crap out of my 1st two and ran 300 rounds through my new one in a week and a half. Yeah, I like 'em !!!
Frank Desomma just recently passed and he was a Rocket Scientist !! I have called POF twice with a question (no problems) and the staff is super cool. I am going on my Spring fishing trip and will start in Az. and go by their place. |

| I dont have much from POF, just a couple of drop in triggers, but they are quality. I would expect their rifles are too. |

| I have both the 308 and 556 POF's. Both very accurate and never had any problems at all.As you said the 308 is a bit on the heavy side but not much more Tham my LMT 308. |

You have cow? I lift cow!
| Had me an 11.5 upper from about 08, Dont quote me exactly. Told em I’d buy it if they threw in a tshirt. Still wear that sucker. Anyway, it was expensive (which was why I demanded a T-shirt) but I got it to use on a full auto lower, with an m4-2000. Back then the 416 was on the scene and POF was the closest thing to it, and it was disputed which was better. There was good info on the pof down in Texas and the front sight had a full hood which matched up to my eotech perfectly. I really liked that sight setup and I wrang that SOB out. The first 2 mags I got jams probably 3 times per mag. After that, it was impeccable. I seem to recall wolf making it hiccupy and I took away some lessons about full power 556. Those days I was pissed if I had to pay over 200 for 1000 rounds of 556 surplus at knob creek. And I’d dump it all in a weekend. Good days. Anyway, I’ve shot a couple of their 308 guns and seen many examples reading. They seem to really perform in the precision department at 100 yards. I’d love to see what you can do with yours. I recall examples of rifles that won’t work or really bad accuracy but I think they are the minority and just need to get sent back to get fixed. |
