RNshooterRangerpoint Precision accessories for lever guns
Hey all-
I just picked up a Marlin GBL in 45-70. The previous owner had outfitted it with Rangerpoint Precision sights and a trigger.
https://rangerpointstore.com/m...-weight-remove-flop/I have to say, I'm impressed. The sights are good, longer sight radius and fiber optic. Easy to pick up.
The trigger is shockingly good. It breaks cleanly between 3.5 and 4 lbs (according to my finely calibrated booger picker). It's no Wilson 1911 trigger, but better than a 150 yd 45-70 deserves.
Keep them in mind, if you're look for some accessories for your Marlin.

Black92LXI’ll have to take a look.
I have been eyeballing the Wild West Happy Trigger Kit with the Gold Nitride trigger.

BB61Year ago, they also did custom work on Marlins. I had a Marlin SBL chambered in 45-70 that I was not very happy with. So I sent it off to RPP for some work. I had them do their accuracy package, work on the trigger and smooth up the action. I was very pleased. The first picture is the best pattern I could get from my Marlin before I sent it out. The second picture is my first or second group after they worked on it. For reference, I am shooting at 50 yards with some HSM hard cast loads. Needless to say, I am a fan of their shop.
